About The Role
We’re looking for a QA Engineer with a broad range of experience working on mobile apps, backend services, and websites. You will help ensure quality at every level of product development, from using manual and automated testing strategies to put our products through their paces to identifying bugs in the code or UI, to ask questions and providing the best possible products to our customers.
As a QA Engineer, you will be an integral part of the dev team and will be driving the quality of our products, by designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions
Your responsibilities
- Managing the execution of test scenarios and report results, capturing run & key metrics over time
- Design and execute testing for complex features on Mobile, Web, and API
- Maintaining documentation related to the QA stream
- Helping teams to adopt CI/CD practices that will enable them to release with confidence
- Executing smoke/exploratory testing to gauge build quality, troubleshoot,, and narrow down root causes of similar or potentially related issues
- Supporting teams in adopting new tools and practices
- Assess feature suitability for test automation (incl. unit tests & UI tests)
- Attending daily stand-ups, sprint planning, refinement sessions & retrospectives as required
You should apply if
- You have QA experience with a broad knowledge of best practices
- Understands where & when automation testing fits into an SDLC, has automation or coding experience, and is eager to grow in this direction
- Testing microservices and cloud architectures
- Experience in improving QA processes within agile teams, through collaboration
- Comfortable working alongside developers, product owners & key stakeholders
Your skills
- Testing across the stack with a strong emphasis on iOS & Android
- Automated test tools
- Cloud-based development
- Continuous integration, testing, and deployment
- Familiar with Charles Proxy, Postman, and cloud-based testing such as BrowserStack
- Experience in agile practice
- Degree in CS, IT, or related scientific discipline
Nice to have
- Experience with test automation: Mobile (XCUITest, Android Test), WEB (Selenium), API (Postman)
- Cloud testing: AWS Device Farm, BrowserStack
- CI/CD: CircleCI, Fastlane
- Basics of Swift, Kotlin, JavaScript or Ruby
- Version control: Git
