It’s Priscilla’s dainty pony hooves, clip-clopping on the ground

Elegant and regal, she sashays to impress

But this evening she’s just strolling, for Priscilla’s a princess

She lifts her knees up to her chin with every step she takes

And points her nose towards the sky, wary of mistakes

See, Priscilla is rehearsing for the highlight of the season

The BaaBaa Show, where Moshlings go, for one particular reason…

… Not to be amazed or blown away by what they see

But to fall asleep by counting sheep, it’s dull as dull can be

The show goes on for endless hours, there’s really no variety

Yet, this bla-a-ah extravaganza is adored by high society

Priscilla isn’t in the show, she has to sit and watch

From the luxury and comfort of the Royal Horsey Box

But the reason that she’s practising her prim and proper walking

Is because she has to meet the sheep and do a lot of talking

She meets them by the entrance, on a carpet plush and red

And chats about how great they are, and nods her pony head

Usually the sheep just baa, but Priscilla has to smile

And pose for the photographers with royal panache and style

This year’s show is being held within a massive tent

In terms of size, it’s probably the greatest sleep event

When Priscilla and her royal chums arrive, the crowds applaud

Though most of them now realise the BaaBaa Show is flawed…

See once upon a time, counting sheep was all the rage

But that was many moons ago, another time and age

These days it just doesn’t work, and most folks find it boring

And watching sheep for hours on end no longer leads to snoring

Moshlings in the audience just sit and gaze all night

But cos this show’s traditional they have to be polite

When actually they’d love to drift into a peaceful sleep

Instead of sitting, watching lots of dawdling, jumping sheep

Priscilla’s now inside the tent, it’s really quite amazing

For tonight the roof’s festooned with lights, for dreamy night time gazing

It’s kind of like a circus tent but plush and more luxurious

And every seat reclines way back, it’s snug, though rather curious

Priscilla clip-clops up the stairs just as the house lights dim

And trots into her hay-filled box, the show will soon begin

The stage is in the middle of a kind of circus ring

That’s carpeted with sawdust… you know the type of thing

The warm up act’s a Moshling, who sits and reads old news

Followed by a troupe of sloths who laze around and snooze

Next a tortoise ambles in, to further dull the senses

But all he does is take an hour to set up several fences

Finally the sheep arrive, and amble round and round

Taking turns to jump the fences, set up on a mound

This snoozefest is soooo tedious but fails to induce sleep

For every Moshling in the crowd is bored of counting sheep

Several hours later and Priscilla’s had enough

So she trots towards the exit in a rather royal huff

But the clip-clop sound her hooves make seems to grab the crowd’s attention

And coupled with the jumping sheep, it adds a fresh dimension

So Priscilla prances in the ring and trots around and around

And every Moshling in the crowd is smitten by the sound

In fact they start to snuggle up and some begin to doze

It seems Priscilla’s clip-clops add some depth to BaaBaa Shows!

The precision of her royal trotting proves to mesmerize

Causing those who’re listening to close their weary eyes

The sheep seem slightly baffled but continue their routine

It really is the most peculiar pony/sheepy scene

Priscilla trots around until the audience is slumbering

Except for one small Moshling in the front row who is mumbling

Priscilla trots towards him, and whispers, “Can’t you sleep?”

“I’d love to” says the Moshling, “But I’m worried for my sheep”

“You see, your Highness, I’m their handler, Jarvis is my name…

And I know your royal clippity-clops will muster great acclaim

See, counting sheep is not as trendy as it used to be

Most Moshlings find it boring, even older ones like me”

“Don’t worry” says Priscilla, “I’ve got a great idea…

Let’s fit your sheep with metal shoes, so audiences hear…

Their little hooves clip-clopping as they leap over each fence

That sound mixed with your visuals will make perfect sleepy sense”

Priscilla gets her blacksmith to create some sheepy shoes

Then gives them all to Jarvis, “These are sure to make folks snooze”

They try them out the next night at a smaller BaaBaa Show

And Moshlings soon agree that it’s the sleepiest place to go

The sheep go on big world tour, that proves a huge success

All thanks to dear Priscilla, the clip-clopping princess

Priscilla’s pleased she helped the sheep, and even makes some pledges

That next year’s Royal BaaBaa Show will see her jumping hedges

Her special guest appearance is sure to guarantee

That this will be a royal event her subjects want to see

Cos counting sheep can make you sleep, but all sheep do is baa

But adding in some clippity-clops is sleepier… by far
