Why have you made a new Play app?

We’ve always been committed to making Moshi the best possible experience for families, and we truly value the feedback we receive from our community. Over time, we’ve heard from many of you that while Moshi’s calming stories, meditations, and music are a perfect fit for relaxation and sleep, you’d also love more opportunities for your little ones to play and engage in new ways.

Rather than adding extra play features to Moshi, which could risk shifting focus away from its core purpose—helping kids relax and sleep—we made the exciting decision to create a brand-new play-focused app! This allows us to design an experience that is fully tailored to playful exploration while keeping Moshi dedicated to what it does best.

What is Moshi Play?

Moshi Play offers a safe, ad-free space where kids can learn, relax, and explore through play. Our team has carefully crafted interactive activities with gentle music to create a calm and engaging experience that supports both education and relaxation.

Each activity is designed to nurture key skills: Here are just some of our activities and how they can help your child learn and develop.

With Moshi Play, children can enjoy screen time that is both meaningful and mindful, helping them learn while feeling calm and focused.

Will the current activities in Moshi Kids be removed?

We have no plans to remove the current activities from Moshi Kids. While we won’t be adding any new activities, the existing ones will remain available for your little ones to enjoy – Remember these can be switched off during your bedtime schedule. Our focus is on keeping Moshi dedicated to relaxation and sleep while introducing a brand-new app for play.

Where can I find the new Moshi Play app?

The new Moshi Play app is currently only available on Android and only in the Philippines while essential checks are being completed. Once it’s ready to launch more widely, we’ll share the news on our social channels and via email so please ensure you have notifications switched on. Moshi Play will be available on both Android & iOS. We currently have no immediate plans to release it on Amazon.

What devices will Moshi Play work on?

While we support Android 9 and above, and iOS 15 and above, iPhone SE devices are not currently supported. When Moshi Play is fully released, you will be able to find it on both Android & iOS stores. We currently have no immediate plans to release it on Amazon.

Can Moshi Play be used offline?

Yes, offline mode is available exclusively to subscribers. However, it can only be accessed for up to 24 hours before needing to reconnect online to continue using offline content. Please note: There are some limitations while offline. For example, settings are inaccessible, profile switching is unavailable, and rewards cannot be obtained.

Subscribed users can only access downloaded games while offline; no other content will be available, and nothing is pre-downloaded. To prepare for offline use, ensure you download all the content you’ll need beforehand from each section of the app.

What is the daily quest for?

When using the Moshi Play app, users are able to earn rewards from playing games as part of their daily quest. 

Subscribers are able to access the full daily quest and rewards. By completing 3 game types per day, users can complete their daily quest and earn collectible stickers, which are then accessible from the treasure chest in each section of the world.

Remember, each day more collectible stickers are available!

Is Moshi Play free?

The Moshi Play app is free during its phased roll-out. However, a subscription service similar to Moshi Kids will be introduced soon.

Once released wider change to: The Moshi Play app is free to download and has some free games. However, a subscription service is available to allow your child access to all of the activities on offer and to a wider range of rewards.

Can I use the same Moshi Kids account on Moshi Play?

During the testing phase, users can not log in to the Moshi Play app using their Moshi Kids credentials—but this feature is on the way! Once this has been released, you will be able to login and use the free version of Moshi Play with limited content.

How often will you release new activities?

It is not certain when a brand-new activity will be released. As soon as a new activity is ready, it will be added for your child to experience.
