What are Moshi Rentals?

Moshi Rentals caters to non-subscribers seeking to explore diverse playlists without a subscription commitment. Look for the ‘Rent’ logo on playlists to access this option.

How do I rent a Moshi Track or Playlist?

  • Click a playlist tile featuring the label ‘Rent’
  • Click the button that says ‘Rent for {X} days – {price}’ This shows the length of the rental and the price.
  • A Parental Gate will be presented for security reasons.
  • After successfully passing through the security question, the payment flow with your provider will begin
  • We set the price in GBP, USD, CAD, AUD and EUR and then Apple and Google determine the price for the country associated with your account.
  • Enter your relevant details to register and pay through Apple or Google as applicable
  • Upon successfully renting, a confirmation message for your purchase will appear, and the ”rent’ icon will be removed.
  • The expiration date for each rented track will be displayed on the screen.
  • Your content will commence immediately upon purchase*. At the end of each period, the content will lock.

*Your payment provider may take a short time to tell us whether the payment is successful. In this case, you may still see the rental button until we get confirmation that payment has indeed gone through.

I’d prefer not to use an in-app purchase, can I pay any other way?

At this time, Moshi Rentals can only be purchased via in-app purchases using Apple or Google. We may look at alternatives in the future.

The track I want to listen to isn’t available for rent, how can I listen to it?

Tracks featured in playlists with the ‘Rent’ logo are the only tracks available for rent at this time. Currently, the only way to access a non-rentable track is through the purchase of a subscription.

Will you release individual track rentals in the future?

Rentals are a recent addition to our features, and if the response is positive, we may explore the possibility of making individual tracks available for rent in the future. Stay tuned for updates!
