MOSHI DESIGN & MOSHLING COMPETITION – CONTEST TERMS & CONDITIONS

To celebrate the relaunch of Moshi Monsters, we’re launching the Moshi Design & Moshling Competition! To enter, you must agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to all of these Terms and Conditions you must not enter the Competition.

1. PROMOTER
The Competition is organised by Mind Candy Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (the “Promoter”).

2. OVERVIEW
The “Moshi Design & Moshing Competition” invites fans to submit a design for a new Moshling to potentially feature in the new Moshi Monsters game. To enter, fans with a Design a Moshling Ticket (obtainable via our Kickstarter (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mindcandy/moshi-monsters-online-virtual-pet-role-playing-game) must submit their entry to support@moshimonsters.com with ‘Design a Moshling Ticket’ as your subject by the 30^th of November 2025.

Entry Deadline: 23:59 GMT on 30 November 2025. All competition entries received after the Entry Deadline shall be automatically disqualified.

Entries will be showcased in our Official Moshi Monsters Discord, where the community, restricted to the Secret Moshling Society (https://discord.com/invite/moshimonsters), will vote for their favourites.

3. ELIGIBILITY

A “Design a Moshling Ticket” (obtainable via our Kickstarter (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mindcandy/moshi-monsters-online-virtual-pet-role-playing-game) is required to participate.
Entrants must be 18 years or older at the time of entry.
Open to participants worldwide, except where prohibited or restricted by law or where registration or bonding required.
Employees or contractors of Mind Candy Limited and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

4. HOW TO ENTER

Entrants must obtain a valid “Design a Moshling ticket”.
Register your Moshling design entry by emailing it to support@moshimonsters.com with ‘Design a Moshling Ticket’ as your subject by the 30^th of November 2025.
Your entry must be your original work and created solely by you, without use of any third party tools.
One Moshling Design may be submitted per “Design a Moshling ticket”.

Multiple entries are allowed per person, provided each entry meets the full submission criteria.

The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if you fail to comply with all of these Terms or if your entry or conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Competition.

5. USE OF MOSHI IP
All characters and creative assets are the property of Mind Candy Limited.

6. VOTING & JUDGING

All valid entries will be posted in the Official Moshi Monsters Discord.
Members of the Secret Moshling Society community may vote for the duration of the voting period between based on artistic quality, creativity, originality and other aesthetic factors in the voters’ discretion.
Based on results of the community voting, an independent judging panel will determine, verify and confirm the winners in its sole discretion (and no correspondence will be entered into this regard).
The overall winner will have the opportunity for their winning design to be turned into a Moshling by our Design Team and added to the game.

Voting is restricted to verified members of the Secret Moshling Society (https://discord.com/invite/moshimonsters) which can be joined via our website (https://www.moshimonsters.com/)

7. PRIZES

Winner: Opportunity for their winning design to be turned into a Moshling by our Design Team and added to the game, with any subsequent character or creative assets created the sole property of Mind Candy Limited, along with all associated rights.

The Promotor will contact the prize winner within 30 days of the end of the voting period using the e-mail address provided with the applicable entry. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner but if a winner cannot be contacted within thirty (30) days, the Promoter reserves the right to offer that prize to the next eligible entry. The Promoter does not accept any liability or responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.

8. CONTENT & VOTING INTEGRITY

Multiple entries per valid ‘Design a Moshling ticket’ are allowed but each entry must be original and meet the entry criteria.
Any use of bots, fake accounts, vote buying, or vote manipulation will result in disqualification or voided.
Entries that contain offensive, inappropriate, or infringing content will be removed.
AI-generated content is not permitted. All entries must be created and performed by a human participant. Use of AI to generate vocals, instruments, or visuals will result in disqualification.

9. RIGHTS TO ENTRIES
Entrants retain ownership of their rights in the entrant’s uploaded content.
By entering, entrants grant Mind Candy Limited a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to repost entries on official websites and social media, with appropriate credit provided where practicable.

10. PLATFORM DISCLAIMER
This competition is not affiliated with or endorsed by Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, YouTube, X, Discord, or Kickstarter.
Participants agree to comply with the terms of each platform and release those platforms from any liability related to the Competition.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent of applicable law, the Promoter, its agents and distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate you or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of entering the competition and/or in relation to the prizes except to the extent it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

12. DATA PROTECTION
Personal data will be processed in accordance with the Mind Candy Limited Privacy Policy (https://www.mindcandy.com/privacy-policy/).
Data will only be used to manage the Competition unless additional consent is given for future communications.

13. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
