Please tell us a bit about you and your family:

I am a licensed social worker and I have a 6-year-old daughter, who is currently in Kindergarten. We are very busy and often my daughter is not very excited about going to bed. We started using Moshi about 2 years ago because she was having a hard time winding down enough to go to sleep.

What first made you search for an app to help with your situation?

I searched for apps that had stories or songs that my small child would be able to listen to. When she was very young I would play classical music, but found she needed something a bit more interesting for her age. So I started looking for stories that would ease her into sleep. Moshi has stories with calm voices, and music she really likes.

Did you try any other ways to help with your situation?

I tried different types of music, but her normal classical wasn’t working and her beloved Disney songs were a little too exciting for bedtime. Moshi had the perfect mix of stories and music that were calming and soothing.

How did you feel the moment Moshi worked for you?

The first time she listened to SleepyPaws and fell asleep within 10 minutes, I almost cried. Usually, it would take an hour or so to put her down. I was so happy I found an app that worked!

What feature do you find the most helpful on the Moshi app?

Being able to choose the different types of activities. I like being able to choose night, mindfulness and meditation, music, and sounds. It makes it easy and now Ruby gets to choose what she wants to listen to based on the categories. She also is able to use breathing techniques to help calm down when she is upset or wound up. When she hears….snuggle up, close your eyes, and relax, she knows it’s time for sleeping.

If you were asked to recommend Moshi, what would you say?

I would recommend it simply based on the ease of use and ability to pick between multiple categories for the littles to listen to. There is basically a listening activity for all times of day and night.
