What is Melatonin?

< All Topics

Melatonin is a hormone that occurs naturally in our bodies and it helps control our sleep patterns. Neurodiverse children do not produce as much Melatonin and they may need a supplement of Melatonin to help them, particularly during sleep time. Melatonin can be prescribed for children with sleep disturbances associated with learning difficulties, such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or autism.
